Rimondi boutique hotel: visual identity

Printing: Offset in two metallic Pantone colors for the case. Offset four-color CMYK printing for the brochures and postcards. Offset in two metallic Pantone colors for the business cards and DL envelope. One metallic Pantone color was also applied to the notepad. Hot foil stamping in various colors for the coasters. Digital printing for the interior pages of the menu.

Finish: Matte soft-velvet lamination on the exterior of the case for maximum protection. Raised embossing, die cutting, hand folding, and gluing to create a unique case for the brochures and menus of the hotel, which will accompany the client throughout their stay. Raised spot UV for the business cards using the traditional handmade process: we spray a specific clear dust directly after the paper has been printed while the ink is still fresh, allowing the dust to stick. We remove the excess, and the sheet goes through a furnace where the dust melts, creating the raised spot UV effect. Using this method, we can achieve raised spot UV on different porous surfaces, which would be impossible with the modern method that requires an even, often laminated surface, stripping the unique characteristics of each paper. We also performed die-cutting for the business cards to create rounded corners and protect the raised spot UV. Die cutting was also used for the coasters. Triplexing and pyrography were applied to the hard cover of the menu.

Binding: Rubber-band binding for the hard cover menu, with a decorative bell to hide the knot of the rubber band. Glue binding for the tear-off notepad.

Papers: Old Mill Bianco 350g for the case and business cards. Old Mill Bianco 190g for the interior pages of the menu. Century Cotton Laid Ivory 120g for the DL envelopes. Beer Matt 1mm thick for the coasters. Superfine Pro Bright 305g for the postcards. Pioneer Premium Offset Paper 90g for the notepad.
